The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Page 2)

The Inn
You'll meet a lot of the people in your notebook here. Visit it frequently, especially at night (before you get the Inn Key, you can come in through the second floor in deku form by using the flower outside). If you come in after 1:30pm on the first day, your name will be on the reservation list.

Great Bay
There are several things to do in this area. The old building to the north is the second Skulltula House (where you can win the Giant's wallet and a Heart Piece). Most importantly, however, swim out to where the seagulls are circling and rescue the drowning zora. After playing your healing song, you'll receive the Zora Mask.

Snow-Head
There are three crucial items to be obtained in this area: the Dungeon Map, the Compass, and the Fire Arrow. Also, if you're collecting stray fairies you better keep an eye out and move all the crates you see. You'll need the Goron Mask to defeat Ghot (or just to get him interested in you). The main thing to remember is to stay off the ramps when he is attacking you. Basically, the more you dodge his attacks, the better your chances are of retrieving the mask. Before you leave, make sure you've collected all fifteen stray fairies (your prize is a doubling of your magic bar).

The Swamp
This is a huge area well worth exploring. You can learn two songs here: the Sonata of Awakening (show the monkey your Deku ocarina), and The Song of Soaring (just talk to the owl). Also, pick up the Heart Piece after you activate the owl statue by flying to the cave above the beach and using the deku flowers to reach the chest.

Trading Post
Don't bother spending your rupees in this shop. Everything for sale here can be found for free.

Tired of having to restart from day one all the time? Activate the owl statues you find along the way and they can be used as a save point. Games saved at these statues restart from the point they were saved.

Swordsman's School
Think you know all there is to know about combat? Think again. Some of the bosses in the game are best dealt with the special skills you can learn here. Go ahead, spend the 10 rupees and become a better fighter. You'll be glad you did.
