Review: Mickey's Speedway USA
The latest in kart racing graces the N64 with familiar Disney faces and patented "Rare" driving mechanics, but don't expect any thrills with this less-than-stellar ride.

In Mickey's Speedway, you must guide Mickey and his high profile friends--including Minnie, Donald, and Goofy--on a series of tracks that cross the United States. Finish first, and you'll be rewarded with new drivers, tracks, and cheats. If you've played Mario Kart 64 or Diddy Kong Racing, you'll be familiar with this game's simple controls.
The audio and visual departments of Mickey are a mixed bag, but overall, Mickey is smooth, with well-designed tracks, and the Disney gang looks sharp and well drawn. Despite some decent features, Mickey is way too easy for the experienced kart driver. Courses are short and the gameplay is straightforward, lacking any depth and variety to the characters and races.
