Basic Moves
Here are all the basics you need to learn on the road to becoming a Melee master:
Standard Attack- Hold AD, tap A
Standard Smash Attack- Tap (AD A)
Special Move- Hold AD, tap B
Special Smash Move- Tap (AD B)
Dash- Tap right, right
Duck- Hold down
Drop Through Floor- Tap down
Standard Combo Attack- Tap A repeatedly
Grab Enemy- Tap Z; or hold DEF, tap A
Pummel Enemy- After a Grab, tap A repeatedly
Throw Enemy- After a Grab, tap AD
Pick Up Item- Tap A
Drop Item- Tap Z
Throw Item- Hold (AD DEF), tap A; or hold AD, tap Z
Smash Throw Item- Tap (AD DEF A); or, tap (AD Z)
Shield- Hold DEF
Roll- Hold DEF, tap left or right
Ground Dodge- Tap (down DEF)
Mid-Air Dodge- While in the air, tap (AD DEF)
