Review: Sheep

Baaaaaa! GBA puzzle game baaaa! Play sheepdog! Herd sheeeeeeeep! Baaaaaaaa!

Yup, that?s right?Sheep. Before you dismiss this modestly titled, PC-ported puzzler, let it be known that Sheep, much like the title animal, is a fun, bizarre, and strangely addictive little creature. While the prospect of controlling a sheepdog to guide sheep into a truck may sound excruciatingly dull, the frantic puzzles, large range of clever mini-objectives, and the fact that each sheep in the herd quietly acquires its own unique personality as the game goes on are what make these Sheep worth checking out. The controls are easy to pick up (though the item-using system could use some more thought), the graphics are simple and clean, and there?s plenty of personality to go around in the form of oddly compelling, weirdly stylized "Sheep Theater" conversations peppered in between stages. Don?t dismiss this potential sheeper?er, sleeper puzzle game. Baaaa.
