Despite what screenshots you may see, this game is pretty amazing.

Those that appreciate a good RPG hybrid will love this game. When I first bought it, I thought it would be just another boring hack and slash game, but its turned out to be more than that. This game will definitely be one of my GBA favorites (which is rare) even after the GB is long gone.
The gameplay tends to be buggy only when it comes to the fighting. Virtucraft could have at least made a combo system in the game, but that would have meant they would have had to take something out. There is a combo system, but its only minutey small. Other than that, the game plays with no problems. The things the player can equip is limited, which means the player has to think before he runs into battle. Or get his butt kicked and THEN realize what he needs to do. The fighting seems to be only a minor thing in this game. Its more about acquiring things and going back to do more, things that you didnt realize. Which is what I need to do, come to think about it.
The graphics are what amazed me. The characters are done in the same way the cartoon is: without lines. But during cutscenes you see Jack with lines around him, whats up with that? Must have been a mistake. The backgrounds are freakin cool, they move and they tend to reflect the area your in or going in to. The animations are smooth and never lag.
The sound is someting I dont really pay attention to. I just listen to some music while I play. But what I did hear is sword effects from the cartoon. I think. It's not really suggested that you listen to the sound though, only when you have nothing to hear. What sort of disappointed me though was the fact that there is only old-style Japanese music rather than the techno hybrid from the show. It takes away a little bit of the feel of the game, but only if you care about it.
This game is something that will keep you amused, trust me. But only if you dont go looking for bugs and things to hate about it. If you hate Samurai Jack, dont bother to get this game. If you love SJ, get it. Its better than the Shadow if Aku.

Dudes in robes are cool. This game is not. A paradox!

A wildly popular Cartoon Network production is mixed with a decidedly Castlevania-like engine. Will it work?
