Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is as funny and enjoyable as its predecessor.

Following the legacy that Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga left behind, Partners in Time is a considerable follow-up. The combat system is essentially the same as Superstar Saga. The X and Y buttons are used to control the babies, and A and B to control the adults. However, instead of doing meticulously timed attacks for the Bros. Attack, different weapons are featured, such as the Green Shells, Ice and Fire Flowers, all of which require teamwork from both brothers.

The top screen serves to show location and map. It also displays instructions on how to use certain items in a Bros. Attack. When the babies and adults are working together but in different areas of the level, the top screen becomes the action screen for the babies.

Some may yearn for a more complicated gameplay, but for those who do not, Partners in Time is still as funny and enjoyable as its predecessor.
