Feature: Ultimate Zelda Giveaway Results!
The time has finally come to announce the winners of our Ultimate Zelda Giveaway! One of you will walk away with the ultra-rare Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask Fierce Deity Link Statue! Who could it be?
Before we announce the final winners, let us give you a peek into our process for determined who would win which prize.
First, every single entry was assigned a number, starting with 1 all the way through to the end. We then drew random numbers and awarded prizes starting with the 3rd runner-up all the way up to the grand prize. Easy enough, right?
After we announce the winners, we will contact them via private message and ask them to send us the URLs of all three pieces along with the secret code phrases.
We will then verify each winner's answers. If they can correctly provide the locations of all three Triforce pieces along with the secret code phrases, then they win the prize.
So just because the following users are listed as the winners, it does not mean they've officially won yet. Not until they've provided us with the correct answers can they claim their prize.
But what happens if they can't, you ask? Simple: We disqualify them, move every winner below them up a slot and choose a new winner.
So let's say our Grand Prize winner can't provide us with the correct answers. The 1st runner-up winner moves up to Grand Prize, 2nd runner-up moves up to 1st and so we, with a new winner declared for the 3rd runner-up prize.
We sincerely hope you collected all the necessary information because all three pieces of the Triforce have forever been erased from our three sites.
And before we move onto the announcing the winners, we'd like to say just one thing to those of you who didn't win: don't lose hope. We will continue to do these contests in the future and even if you didn't win this time, you have to try and try again. Don't have hard feelings and don't get mad or sad that you didn't win. Congratulate the winners and look for a future contest because as the old saying goes, "Every dog has its day."
