Wrestlers are gross. A replacement for these steroid-fueled monstrosities of the ring was long overdue, and when Konami released the first Rumble Roses game in 2004, scores of horny PS2 owners thanked the gaming gods and pleasured themselves to a fresh approach to theater wrestling. With Rumble Roses XX, the girls look even more ravishing than before as they grapple each other's well formed bodies and try to break bones.

This game satisfies just about every fetish, with the exception of a Chyna-bodied wrestler. The seductive teacher, the wet nurse, the sun-razed Californian bimbo, and even a generic Britney Spears are included for you to have power over. XX has eight modes in total, including a Street Fight mode where pinning is not employed and instead functions like your traditional fighting game, and a Queen's Match mode where the winner gets to humiliate the defeated by ordering her to do things such as a silly dance, in other words, to shake what momma gave them, and in this case it's a set of fatty water balloons.

And now for what everyone reading this review really cares about. What exactly do we get with the sequel's extra "X" in its title? While it's not porn, there are some stimulating aspects that are worth mentioning. The most notable is the purchasable Photo Shoot mode where you can zoom in and out all over the girls' bodies (interestingly called "Motion Play"), place them in a variety of backdrops, and trade photos that you take of them over Xbox Live.

So after all these good things said about Rumble Roses XX, why only a 4.0 rating? Well, as you can probably guess, this isn't the deepest videogaming experience you can buy for sixty bucks. It's not going to change the genre. It's not going to be the game of the year. It's just something fun to do after killing a few beers.
