There's nothing like the feeling of exhilaration when running into battle with all your abilities ready to go, assigning them to enemies, and watching the ass-kicking commence. In addition, running into battle expecting to simply gun down your enemies will prove to be a quick way to an early grave.
The dialogue system is complex yet easy to use, letting you be a bully or a saint with a flick of a button
8. Be A Renegade
Through the various dialogue options you'll have throughout the game, there's nothing more entertaining than upping your intimidation level and really letting some of the NPCs have it by showing your "renegade" side. Make the galaxy fear you with the flick of the analog stick.

9. The Death of a Friend
Without giving too much away, it's fairly easy to figure out who the main antagonist of the game is early on, as he flat out executes one of your team members. Make sure to show him the same compassion when you meet him.
Shepard can aid people or revile them, just remember your actions may come back to haunt you
10. Realizing Your Choices Affect the Galaxy
It's hard throughout Mass Effect to really believe that all the little choices you make will affect the big picture, but that's the hard truth, and making the right or wrong decisions has the potential to sway the entire story arc.
