Summary
Game Description
In Midway's third-person shooter that is coming to the Xbox 360, Stranglehold, you play as Inspector Tequila (we kid you not), who's actually action hero Chow Yun-Fat. The game takes place in Hong Kong and Chicago and will include all of the rad trademarks of John Woo, since he is involved in the project. Xbox 360 + John Woo + Midway + Chow Yun-Fat - Tom Cruise, could = one hell of an amazing gaming experience. Time will tell.

First things first, this is NOT an intelligent kind of game, just point and shoot, but it's done almost to perfection. The game's story is unimportant never really made me say OMG ( except that ONE time), the combat is awesome as bullets whiz by your head you hear the bullets hitting the stuff behind you, topnotch really, it's fun to pick up and play, put the main problem with the game is that while it;s fun, it's not a game that will impress you that much, after the first couple of levels it turns into an average game with amazing graphics and effects and some moments oozing with style and coolness. So to review: Graphics: the player models look great but the levels themselves ( and their destruct ability) are the star of the show. Plus the cool moves and physics within the game. Sound: the music does it job, never really noticed among the sounds of bullet fire and stuff blowing up, which are awesome. Controls: it handles fine but the sliding move can be tedious to use on anything else than rails. fun factor: a pick up play game that will impress you but not like other better games. So yes i would recommend it to people to at least rent it, but also to buy cause, sometimes you just wanna kill dudes with style.

This game is a great rental. It's fun blast through an interactive action movie with some nice gunplay and graphics. The environments crumble and rip apart with tons of gun fire. If you are a fan of Max Payne or John Woo, go for it. I just can't recommend a 60 dollar purchase with a game you will probably finish in one night. The boss fights could have been better but overall a fun blast.

This game is AWESOME!!!!! It has good graphics and gameplay. You can kill your enemies and look cool doing it.you can jump on carts and shoot or you can slide down stair rails or over tables. The best thing about this game is that almost everything can be destroyed.I mean EVERYTHING.If you like run and gun types of games or the O YEAH, KILLED YOU AND LOOKED GOOD DO'N IT types of games then this is the perfect game for you.

Review:
Stranglehold
The iconic Inspector Tequila, as portrayed by Chow Yun Fat, is back in this video game sequel to John Woo's 1992 Hong Kong action classic, Hard Boiled, and the intervening years haven't done much to soften his penchant for shooting stuff up.
