Strategy Guide: Panzer Dragoon Orta (Episode 5: Els-Enora)
The first form of this boss is only remarkable because you'll have a difficult time shooting down its projectiles without access to Glide. The second form is the tricky part.
You'll barely be able to do any damage from behind. Glide to the side and use lock-ons on the weak spots under the wings. Any mode is capable of shooting down all of the projectiles, just keep your aim level.
The boss will frequently maneuver itself behind you?never, ever stay in front of it for more than a second, as it will try to bite you. Glide back to a side that still has weak spots remaining.
When its health gets low, the boss will pull ahead, then throw out a veritable minefield of feathers. To escape these, switch to Glide mode and move to the extreme right or left.
Keep up a steady stream of fire to clear the way in front of you, and the moment the movement arrows appear on your radar again, glide forward. Any feathers you didn't shoot down should be destroyed when you glide.
When you've destroyed all of the boss' weak spots, it will start firing missiles at the cost of its own health. Stay to the sides and concentrate on shooting down all of its projectiles. It will kill itself without your help, so you just need to stay alive.
