There?s no business like snow business, and Microsoft?s opening up shop with Amped.

Amped is definitely a serious game for serious snowboarders?the attention to detail, the realism, and the complex but rewarding gameplay is more technical than in most snowboarding games. At various times, you?ll have to impress the media, beat the point totals, show off for the potential sponsors, and eventually challenge the pros on their own turf. Visually, the game?s clean and bright, and the enormous soundtrack encompasses electronica, punk, and hip-hop. However, you?ll sometimes feel like you?re fighting the game?s physics (but it gets more comfortable with practice). Microsoft has nothing to be ashamed of, though?Amped is a solid, enjoyable snowboarder with a fairly high difficulty factor and lots of gameplay.
