Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x
Behold, it?s Tony Hawk?s Pro Skater 2 Turbo Revival Director?s Cut Special Edition Redux!
In Tony Hawk?s Pro Skater 2x, the "x" definitely stands for extra?think of this as THPS2: The Director?s Cut. In addition to rebuilt/expanded levels from THPS2, you?ll find all the original THPS1 levels waiting to be rediscovered, along with five new levels exclusive to THPS2x. World details (like blades of grass) really pop, and the audio is fine, featuring music from Powerman 5000 and Public Enemy & Anthrax. While the controls (or the controller?) could use more precision, up to eight players can network their Xboxes for multiplayer matches. Overall it?s a sweet package for your permanent library, but if you?ve played any earlier version and aren?t a Tony junkie, you can probably get by with a rental to check out the new stuff.
