Game Description

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits by Activision is a music game and the fourth expansion of the Guitar Hero series. Previously called Greatest Hits, Smash Hits features 48 songs from Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and expands them to include support for full band play. Smash Hits plays similar to World Tour, features support for a four instrument band: lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals. In addition to master recordings for each song, the songs have been charted to use gameplay for open bass strumming and slider sections for intense solos using the touchpad on the guitar bundled with World Tour.
