Classic NES Fun

This game is not for the impatient, but is very rewarding for those willing to master the unorthodox controls. In place of a jump button, there's the bionic arm that works a little like Spider-Man's web and allows you to grapple and swing. The game is difficult, sure, but is a lot of fun. It's from a bygone era of gaming where the game demands that you master your technique and memorize the level before you can advance, and may frustrate many younger gamers.

The remake is well worth your 800 MS points

Bionic Commando Rearmed is awesome. There just isn't anything else to describe it. Almost everything stays faithful to the original NES version, the visuals get a sexy update, the already great gameplay gets more refined with easy to learn controls and the boss fights are pretty epic for a 2D game.

You can do two player co-op online or offline I believe. It also has multiplayer, which is sadly offline only. I haven't got the chance to check it out but I've heard its pretty fun. There are tons of secrets and unlockables (some secrets unlock something for the next Bionic Commando sequel). When your done with the game, you can head over for the challenge rooms to well, uh, challenge your skills with the bionic arm. Overall, this game kicks ass and well worth your time.
