Gears of War 2 for the Xbox 360 is a tactical third-person shooter video game in development by Epic Games and to be published by Microsoft Game Studios exclusively for the Xbox 360. It's the sequel to the critically acclaimed best-seller Gears of War. The game will use a heavily upgraded version of the Unreal Engine 3. In GOW2, the Locust have found a way to make giant emergence holes to destroy entire cities at one time. Marcus Fenix and the rest of the COG Delta Squad are now drilling underground to "take the fight to the Locust." The game will also be available in a Limited edition for $69 that includes a hardcover book, bonus DVD, and more.

Gears of War once again proves to be completely bad@ss. Visuals are good, multiplayer is great, has lots of dlc and different game mode to keep you playing forever, it's fun as hell with great controls and gameplay throughout, and campaign and boss fights are crazy (in a good way) - no berserkers though :(
Overall it's awesome. But duh, of course it is. It is Gears of F**cking War. - wuff

Horde Mode Rocks

I have played through the first two Chapters and then started to play Horde mode and haven't played through the whole campaign yet because Horde is so addictive. I don't like having to start over if you fail a wave they should fix it to allow you to redo the wave you failed. I bought KiLLZone 2 and think Gears of War 2 is more fun to play. The fact that you can hold 3 weapons in Gears is better than only being able to hold 2 weapons as is the case in KillZone 2, with the pistol being a weapon that cannot be switched out for something else.
