Summary
Game Description
It's the end of the world as we know it, but we feel fine because Bethesda has resurrected the cult-favorite role-playing series Fallout. Like their earlier Oblivion, players will be able to enjoy the post-apocalyptic action in the first-person perspective as well as the third. Here, players can customize their character before taking him or her out into the wastelands of Washington, D.C. to search for dear old dad, opting to become either a hero to millions or public enemy number one. Adventurers will also be able to form two-man parties and be accompanied by the ever-faithful hound Dogmeat. Fallout 3 also comes in a Collector's Edition for $69 that includes a Vault Boy Bobblehead, hardcover art book, making-of DVD, and Vault-Tec lunch box.

fallout 3
Fallout 3 is a great game! there is only one other shooting game that comes close to fallout 3 and that is bioshock. There is only one problem with it, and that is that the game is to short. I won the game in a day or so and when I finished I was kinda disapionted, but that is because I went straght to the main qwests and didn't do the side qwests except for one or two. Even though the game was short it was very amusing and there are a lot of add ons like the pitt and mother ship zeta. Even now I find myself playing the game over and over again. If you don't have it then buy it!

Fallout 3 Post Apocalyptic Preparation
Fallout 3, How should I say this? Buy it now! If you are a big fan of open world games that allow you too be a hell raiser or a brave hero who dedicates there life to making others happy, You should already be sitting and playing this game! Fallout 3 offers an endless amount of areas to explore and people to meet. The world of Fallout 3 obviously if you have not Figured it out is a war torn Washington DC with all of the landmarks included. When I popped in Fallout 3 I spent a lot of time exploring and not once did it cease to amaze me. Bethesda has made there worlds so amazing that while I sit there and look at my tv I find myself wishing I could crawl into it and experience every smell, texture and don't forget the food. While I was exploring I found that this really is more than a game I can lock myself in my room, shut all of the blinds and still feel like I am a part of this world that has as much diversity in it as the real world does. But I could go on forever about how great the world itself is but you will never get the full extent of what I am talking about until you try it yourself. The story is nothing too exciting, we have heard of this scenario before, boy loses father, boy searches for father and finds out a bunch of stuff. But the way the story is presented and the environment that it takes place in adds so many aspects to the story that no matter how many times you play the game it always seems fresh. The audio WOW! Fallout 3 has some of the best audio I have heard in a while it really sets the mood for the game, I actually got scared at one point because the music told me something was around but I couldn't see it! It is a truly amazing part of Fallout 3 it really is the cherry on top.
Now let's get down too business. I don't want too spend 15 minutes trying to get my speech level up so I can persuade some ugly women to give me some information on the whereabouts of my father. The conversation system in this game needs to be modified. Bethesda needs to focus on this area the next time they make a game because after Mass Effect I will no longer settle for some stupid voiceless character that speaks in writing I WANT A CINEMATIC CONVERSATION! The boring conversations lead to some repetitive gameplay that sap your time. I hate it when I have a task to do that consists of walking for ages, just find out the person I was sent to go see doesn't know a thing. And then I have too walk even longer to another person, just give me something interesting to do when I have to talk to people like a more immersive conversation with them and I will be more than happy to walk all the way there.
Fallout 3 is a game that must be in your collection the amount of content that is coming out for it will make it the only game you will ever need.

Oblivion 2
Unfortunately, Bethesda did exactly what it did so well in Oblivion, which is it made Oblivion...again. Other than a different world to run around in and using guns instead of swords and a different GUI, this game is exactly the same as Oblivion, all the way to using the same voice actors for the minor characters.
Bethesda did a great job with the VATS system, although the camera angle can go to some interesting places when the cinematics role, behind a wall, behind a body, focusing on the shooter rather than the outcome.
Overall, a lackadaisical effort of rehashing the tried and true game, Oblivion.
