It's the end of the world as we know it, but we feel fine because Bethesda has resurrected the cult-favorite role-playing series Fallout. Like their earlier Oblivion, players will be able to enjoy the post-apocalyptic action in the first-person perspective as well as the third. Here, players can customize their character before taking him or her out into the wastelands of Washington, D.C. to search for dear old dad, opting to become either a hero to millions or public enemy number one. Adventurers will also be able to form two-man parties and be accompanied by the ever-faithful hound Dogmeat. Fallout 3 is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. It also comes in a Collector's Edition for $69 that includes a Vault Boy Bobblehead, hardcover art book, making-of DVD, and Vault-Tec lunch box.

Fallout 3

For starters I love this game. I love the insane amounts of violence, the amazing graphics, and even the story. I also love the V.A.T.S. system. The down sides are the visual glitches while roaming the Wasteland, the random game freezes, and the odd disappearance of a NPC. But, aside from that I'm absolutely addicted to this game. And I would recommend this game to anyone who likes open world games, or FPS.

Best 08 Game

This is an incredible. I love the jazzy music from GNR, the visuals are cool, gameplay and controls and easy to use, this game is really, really addicting and fun, with LOADS of content and dlc. Vats system is awesome. So this the action in this game. Only problems are some bad glitches (NPCs disappear sometimes, bodies float, the game freezes on occasion - happened to me like 5 times in the 175+ hours I've spent on it so its not that bad, but very irritating when it happens) and the leveling up goes by too fast. Other than that, this is one of my favorite games of all time. Oh yeah, the achievements are great too. Thanks bethesda! - wuff

The best game

When I first played it I was amazed from the graphics. You can feel the place and the combat. The combat system was very fun, since you can just aim people automaticaly. The best part is the place where you can make your character good or bad.
Well it was the best game i bought in 2008

Oblivion of the Future? No. Just as good, if not better, than Oblivion? Definitely.
