Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII by Ubisoft for Xbox 360 makes you the leader of Operation Wildcard, an undercover and elite squad of pilots secretly created by the American government. Your mission is to sabotage and destroy the Third Reich's plans to create a weapon of mass destruction. During this mission you and your team discover that the bad guys also have an elite team of their own. In an attempt to disarm the enemy, you engage in dramatic and movie-like spy missions in some of the world's most exotic locations using experimental weapons and flying never-before-seen prototype aircraft.

Blazing Angels 2: the best WW2 air combat console game so far

The sequel to Blazing Angels, BA2 features a unique, fictional storyline starring a secret allied squadron brought together to battle World War 2's deadliest experimental war craft. The sequel improves upon the foundations of the original, adding a sim control set up, cockpit view, and all new air craft, weapons, and locations. Many of the same complaints still abound in the sequel(noticeable screen tearing and linear mission difficulty are still problems), but overall, the sequel far surpasses the original in every way. The story is better, the online mode is much deeper, and the new paint schemes, unlockables, and upgrades will keep you busy for some time. If you like the original, or are a CS and Heroes of the Pacific fan, and can't wait until sept. 2008 to get your Heroes over Europe fix, this game will certainly tide you over.
