Its different

This game was... ok, but just not as fun as I thought it woyld be, BUT on the bright side, it has a godd story line, its kind of weird, the controls are kind of screwy, I really cant play it alot in front of my brother and sister because they say Fu** alot, I mean really whats up with games and the non stop cussing in them, but other than all of that it's an ok game.

Rent it

I bought this game for $20, but it's not worth anything more. It's a fun, creepy game in it's own right, but it is very repetitive and the story is a little loopy later on in the game. The atmosphere is great tho. If you liked the first, rent this.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot - Xbox 360

Welcome to Condemned 2. I hope you're wearing Brown Pants.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot is the latest Action/Horror game from acclaimed Developer Monolith(F.E.A.R, Project Origin). Bloodshot begins shortly after the events of the first game, and shoves you into the pee-stained shoes of a Down-on-his-luck Ethan Thomas. Ethan, caught up on his relentless drinking, is in for one hell of a ride. GRAPHICS Condemned 2 looks very good in First-Person, witch is what the game is played in (Besides cut-scenes). Clever use of filters and lighting effects add to the tension of the experience, but sometimes they're a bit overdone. But these great visuals are disrupted at the start and end of each level with some really awkward 3rd person cutscenes (Imagine Turok, but worse). Overall, the graphics are great. 8/10 GAMEPLAY In the first Condemned, the fighting mechanics were a real mixed bag. Sometimes, you could feel the impact of a golf-club to the spine run up your shoulder, and sometimes, it was like an autistic kid trying to swim. Thankfully, Bloodshot attempts to throw away these problems with the clever implementing of combos. When certain punches and blocks are strung together, the damage done in the end is multiplied somewhat. This ads some very minor strategy to the otherwise mindless combat. 9/10 SOUND Every scream of a demon and cry of a hobo with glass in his eyes will make you scream, laugh, and even cringe. This is helped by some solid voice-work. 10/10 OVERALL A great game, but weighed down a little by some very minor issues.

  • Mar. 25, 2008 Review: Condemned 2: Bloodshot

It's been eleven grueling months since the Serial Killer X case, as well as the suspension and resignation of former SCU agent Ethan Thomas. After the events of Condemned: Criminal Origins, the only peace the ex-crime scene investigator can seem to find is at the bottom of a glass of whiskey -- and even then, he can't escape his hallucinations and nightmares. No, time hasn't been kind to Mister Thomas, but rest assured-it's only going to get much worse before it gets any better.
