I feel bad for Blacksite: Area 51. Sure, it's not a great FPS title in by any means but it is a solid and enjoyable shooter that will no doubt get lost in the shadow of great games like Halo 3, Bioshock and The Orange Box.

BlackSite: Area 51 - Xbox 360

Just an average game

This game to me was just average. It didn't do anything bad but it also didn't do anything good either. The story is that bad but everthing else about this game is kind of cliche. The driving part of the game is one of the hardest parts b/c the controls are bad. This game definitly is not worth the full but maybe once it's in the bargin binthat's how much its worth.

Dissappointing in the aftermath of the Big 2

The title says it all. Blacksite: Area 51 has the potential to be spoke of as a "Halo Killer"or outshine Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare but falls miserably short in far to many areas. The very first thing that dissappointed me was the poor dialouge. The squad members make dumb observations and make corny jokes that a real special forces badass would not be caught near. The main character also does not say one word the entire time which came across to me as either they wanted the overplayed "strong, silent type" or they didn't want to take they time to decide what he should say. A captain of any unit does not become a captain by not saying one word during an entire operation. Other than that the sound was good and the graphics was par with what you would expect from the Xbox 360. Another aspect of the game I found to be dissappointing was that there was only one new system within the game and even that had a very minute effect on basic gameplay if you are like me and dont even pay attention to your squad mates, not to mention if you play on expert as I did, they die quick anyway. Everything you do feels like you've done before in every other FPS ever made. The final dissappointment is the sheer difficulty of expert. Your squad members dont react quick enough and die far too often. It becomes just a chore to get through the game. I had an easy time beating CoD4 on expert which...is pretty hard. This setting makes Legendary on Halo 3 seem like Normal. Other than that, the game is rentable. Decent story plot with a few fun hours.

This was a decent game i suppose, some points in the game were intense, i remember fighting the boss and that was intense, most of the guns are cool and theres lots of levels to play in This was a decent game i suppose, some points in the game were intense, i remember fighting the boss and that was intense, most of the guns are cool and theres lots of levels to play in
