My Marvel - Ultimate Alliance Review

In Marvel: UA, you play a cast of super heroes trying to stop Dr. Doom and his team "Master of Evil" from trying to take over the world. The game hits all spectrums of the comic book world, giving you plenty of characters to choose from: Spiderman, Wolverine, Deadpool, Captain America, Blade and many more. Recently, downloadable content was release for you to be able to play as some villians as well, including the infamous Venom. You can play by yourself you with three teammates, and these teammate can either be bots or human players. Think of this game as a super advance type of Gauntlet.

Each character has a host of special moves, and better yet, when used at the same time as another character, the moves combine and have special effects. The graphics aren't mind-blowing, but they portray what it needs to with all the characters moves. You are able to upgrade moves to make them stronger or to have longer lasting effects. Most of the characters are well-balance, minus the very few that are a little too overpowered....Wolverine for example.

For a game that comes free with some of the 360 consoles, this game is great fun. If you talk to everyone in the game and do all sidequests and subplots, and collect all comic books, this game does well in longevity. I definately recommend this game, even if its just for a rent.

Nerds, Rejoice

There's no denying that this is basically X-Men Legends, but with just more characters. But this is X-Men Legends, done 110% better. The levels are larger, the enemies are harder, the story is awesome, & the superheores & effects are very detailed. Also, this game is a lot longer than X-Men Legends 2, so stop bickering. Who doesn't want to fight alongside Iron Man & Captain America, or even Thor? If you don't, than you got a screw (or 2) loose. Overall, twice as better as Legends, thrice as better as Legends 2.

Marvel UA-hack and slash: repeat

If you go in expecting nothing more than a hack and slash, you will be pleased. Thats what it is. Loads of heroes and villains to command. A good amount of missions, and tight controls. I still play it some times for mindless fun.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

I rented this game for the 360, and took a chance on it. I wasn't sure if it was going to suck or be fun. It was a great game from the start. As in most games your team A.I. is not very smart, and the graphics aren't exactly next-gen, but the gameplay and the fun of beating the crap out of people makes you pretty much forget about it. If this game could just improve in the graphics department it would be rated a 5 in my book. A really good game all around.

Xmen Legends with cooler characters

If you get past the poor level design, poor graphics, and corny spiderman lines; this is a great arcade game. The character in this game look great with a good amount of powers. Yet the Battles get repetitive quickly, and there is only so many times blasting away enemies with your powers is fun. But when you grab a buddy or 3, this game becomes insanely fun. An added benifit is the ability for your friends to jump in and out of a game at any time. So get over the subpar story and 80's style of arcade fighting, and play this game today.
