Halo 1 was fun, not my favorite game though, Halo 2 was good, also not my favorite FPS game. However Halo 3, its epic!!! the graphics needed more AA in them, but HDR was awesome, textures were amazing too, NPC's were good to look at and their Ai was good too, story was great and in Legendary long enough, this game is suppose to be plaid in legendary, online awesome, and loads of stuff to drive...whats not to love about it, Sony fanboys bash it saying its not good, but real xboxers love it if their into halo and fps games

Halo 3 is a pretty good shooter but falls short of extreme greatness by a few simple mistakes that could of been easily avoided. The story is okay and short. Multiplayer and forge, on the other hand, is where this game's true meat lies. Armor was a cool thing to add but maybe got a little out of hand now with all this recon armor crap. I would like to give this game 4.5/5 but you can't here so whatever. probably a very good game rating for a 4. don't be fooled, I love Halo 3, but it has its flaws.
Best game on the 360?

Well maybe not but there's a lot to be said about Halo 3 and most of it is good. The game may not be as fun as the original Halo in either story mode or multi-player but what it does bring to the table is a refreshed engine, great feel, an excellent online experience and customization. All the while maintaining what makes the Halo franchise so great.
Halo 3's biggest gripe is it's story mode. The levels feel underdeveloped and monotonous. Sure Bungie tried to mix things up a bit by bringing in an array of new features, such as cool new weapons, vehicles and boss battles but none of really comes together like it's predecessor. It's one of those games that great the first time around but once you've beaten it, there's not much to go back for. Sure achievements are great and testing your will against enemies in Legendary mode are too but after that all you'll want to do is play online. Which brings me to my next case.
Halo 3's strongest feature is it's online multi-player mode. Not enough can be said about it. It should and probably will set a standard for online performance in terms of the interface layout to human interaction to technical features. The environments or stages I should say are immaculate. Less than or equal to Halo's multi-player and much stronger than Halo 2's accompanied by the ability to customize your Chief's (or Elite's) armor give that much needed spark to make the story mode seem irrelevant.
So why is it a 5 out of 5? Well like I said before, the story mode doesn't deserve much credit for anything but the online multi-player does and it deserves more than...well what it deserves. In most, if not all cases, when a games multi-player outshines it's missions then the games probably crap but I can assure you, that's not the case with one of the best games out this gen, Halo 3.
Amazing

Alright, I didn't put any cons because the ones they gave me as choices weren't the problems with the game. Anyway, Halo 3 is an AMAZING product that any sci fi fan or shooter fan should buy. It was even more amazing for me because it was my first Halo game, and online game. When I got the game last Christmas, I didn't have Xbox Live, but it was a blast with the fun filled campaign and 1v1v1v1 split screen battles. When I got XBL, it was even more of a blast, with it's amazing online features, Foundry (ultimate forge map) many new downloadable maps, the fileshare system and much more. This is a very undetailed review- I know, but later I'll have a more fleshed out and detailed review :)
