Halo 3
Halo 3 by Microsoft is an FPS where you play as a high-tech supersoldier -- Master Chief -- who's charged with saving mankind from the clutches of the villainous Covenant, a fanatical alien race comprised of dozens of different species. Chief's battle takes him to Earth to "finish the fight," but the online mode is the highlight. You can play online with up to 16 players at one time in a huge array of multiplayer games: Team Slayer, Capture the Flag, and more. Four players can also play the single-player mode together over Xbox Live in the online cooperative play mode. Halo 3 also has amazing user-customizable maps, unlockable armor sets, and a huge arsenal of deadly human and Covenant weaponry.
