Tiger Woods as a golfer is arguably the best that ever held a set of clubs. Tiger Woods as a video game series, is without a doubt, leagues beyond the competition. Oh wait, is there any competition? Besides, the animated and sometimes entertaining Hot Shot series, rivaled by none other than the Outlaw series? Links? PPPPHHHTT! Not even close! As we move to the next generation systems, Tiger seems to lose no drive, no power, and no steam. He graces the 360 with the same popularity and expectations as before and does not dissappoint. If you follow the series at all, this is a must buy. If you enjoy golf, even a tiny bit, this is a must buy. If you enjoy video games and are at all intrigued by the graphical abilities of the PS2 XBOX era, and catch yourself wondering what it would be like at the next level, this game is a must buy, for the scenery alone. But the scenery is not alone. It is accompanied by steller gameplay, super smooth animations, true to life sound as well as visual effects, and very impressive control. Most of us gamers out there enjoy re-creating a cyberself and watching him tear up the competition, visioning ourselves living out our fantasies and dreams. Well, if you are a stranger to the depth and possibilities of character creation, more importantly if you have never witnessed the depth of Tiger Woods character creation, it's about time you make your self familiar. The game modes are great, the typical stroke and skins are there, but there are others as well which make tournaments pretty entertaining with a buddy or 3. Also the online mode is great and on Xbox live it is possible to play 2 on 2 online meaning 2 people can play from your house against 2 people from anywhere. All in all an impressive game and Tiger will continue to top the leaderboards, for another year until someone gets the courage to make a comperable golf-sim, and releases it against the best.

I bought the XBOX version and after 10 minutes of play, I went back to the store and exchanged it for the PS2 version. The control on XBOX is impossible.Horrible control. Read my review on PS2 version.
