Game Description

Gun by Activision for the Xbox is a third-person action game that takes place in the wild West. You are Colton White, and you must straddle the line between good and evil as you showdown against corrupt lawmen, a murderous preacher, renegade army psychopaths, merciless outlaws, and unforgiving Native Americans, while waging war on horseback, collecting bounties, and commandeering trains. You travel through a landscape of high mountain wilderness, deserts, and bustling territorial towns in an epic story of betrayal, greed, and revenge.

Gun - Xbox

Gun

I just finished playing Gun, and i was pleasantly surprised. It had been recommended to me by various friends, and after constantly listening to them I went out and bought it. the story was immersive, far more so than i would have thought for a western style shooter. the game play reminded me a little of Red Dead Revolver, although it was more responsive, which was definitely a plus. The graphics are alright, and the sound effects are wonderful for a shooter, although I have a probnlem with its length. I sat down and beat Gun in little over seven hours of actual play, and most of that time was just me randomly wandering around. I would have given Gun a strong 4.75 were it not for the game's length, which left me thinking of the way I felt after playing through Fable. the only other flaw was, as i mentioned breifly earlier, the graphics are only mediocre compared to what the xbox is capable of. On the whole, Gun is still a very engaging game,which I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Ride the range

The price on this game just dropped big time. Cough up a 20 and you can buy a pretty good game. I don't think it's as good as Red Dead but it's still worth your time and money. The game looks amazing but you'll notice some graphic glitches. Controls take some getting used to but picking off birds, animals or bad men is a snap. You have your choice of side quests or you can just roam the range for fun. The game ends way too soon and I hope a sequel is in the works.
