Far Cry Instincts

Exciting, enjoyable, beautiful-this is one of th best Xbox games to date

This is basically a port of Far Cry which was originally relased on the PC a year before this. Amazing graphics, intense sound, fun gameplay and lots of value all build up to make an amazing game that's one of the Xbox's finest.

Outstanding game. Great graphical representation, sound, and insane gameplay, all add up to one of the best games on Xbox. How can you beat utilizing a hang glider to get from point A to point B, all while capping enemies in the process. Excellent AI as well, which helps to make the game more realistic.

Great Single Player, Multiplayer Looks Several Years Outdated

The storyline and single player aspect of this game are great. The powers at your disposal are very cool and the weapons did not lead me lacking, though it would have been nice to be able to pilot one of the choppers.

The multiplayer looks much like what should have seen in the first Xbox games and the way it played out reminded me of what was available with my N64. It was pretty much sub par to the multiplayer aspects of many comparable video games at the time.

A great game, just don't expect the multiplayer to be that great.

Not bad but could have been more.

I played this game, and from the word go i was happy nice interactive areas like useing multiple wepons and driving trucks/boats/jeeps/quads etc i was happy, graphics could have been better e.g. after playing Black, other shooting games did not match. But this game was nice and variable i like the jungle,water levels and clifs but it was missing the normal things you would see in a jungle or water like fish,birds, other animals that may attack you. I mean swimming in some water there are no plants rocks or fish, what about aligators or killer fish making it harder to swim. Some levels made me reach for the base ball bat and wanna beat everything to death so frustrating hard but i loved them. Others i found so dame boring e.g. the soilders spawning all the time i was on a level in the feral jungle and i killed 139 soilders all i did is stand in one place and kept punching them, come on this is not 1993 or games that lacked story so put more hardness in to make it better and shootable, its just dame lazy if you ask me. No pride goes ino games anymore for the interactivness, that is what people want. another e'g. loved the tree traps but if a tree branch hit you in the head or stomach with spikes on i would be stuck bleeding from every hole made and stuck to the branch, not slug across the map. This game was based for kids that just care about killing even the tasks puzzels were easy. i could deaign a more interactive and mid numbing game, give me the skills or games designers and writers at my disposal and ill beat half life 2 or quake4 dont even get ma started with that. I completed the game in 2 days not worth the money i spent on it.

One of The Best FPS On The Xbox Today

Far Cry a game of wild gameplay. A game of search and destroy. A game of stealth. A game of evolution. A game that you kill people. could this be your next Halo or is it better than Halo read my review. We start you off with a afternoon forcast bright sunny and a excllent day to ride your boat. Unless you with a scientist who explores the Island gets caught. Then your ship gets blown all the way to hell. Then the next thing you know you swimming in a caverin for your very life. this is beggining of Far Cry. The graphics for this game are excllent incredible lighting great cutscenes and blood hell if you didn't know better you would think it's a Xbox 360 game. The voice acting in this game are excllent also no voice is to annoying and the nature sound like nature and basically the Island effects are done well also. Now the game play is great the moves you can do are great it's just like a real survival game which I like to see. The differnt types of gameplays add element and style to the game. The trucks are hard to control it will take a while to get use to. The reason this game didn't make5 out 5 is because of some of ther minor cliches in the game but other than that it's good. To me it takes Halo to a whole new level of EXpectations but to others they may still say it as nothing on Halo. The hunt as become the Hunter.
