Madden NFL 06 by EA Sports for the Xbox has some new features over the 2005 edition. New for Madden 06 is the QB Vision Control, which lets you scan the field, look off defenders, and make perfect throws with your quarterback's unique field of vision. QB Precision Placement allows you to put the ball exactly where you want it. Lead the receiver to an open area, throw it behind him so he can come back to it or throw a jump ball and let him go get it.

Who take out the fantasy draft?

I know they had to rush this out for the 360 launch but they dropped the ball. Who takes out the fantasy draft in Madden? It's the best part of the game.

Still can't compare to NFL 2k5

Sorry, there was no reason for me to buy this game. The animations, player models, and the graphics popping in and out. Its sad. A year ago Visual Concepts came out with the ultimate football title and it still remains the champ. The passing is more difficult than it needs to be. The players still fall the same animated way that they have since 2003. I was expecting something special, not a passing cone and roster update. Maybe EA can dump tiburon and hire Visual Concepts to do football some justice in the next gen. ha ha.

I told you so!

EA has made another lackluster Madden and now we are forced to buy this game since there is no competitor, and thats how they wanted it. The game does have improved graphics but nothing really to talk about. The modes are there and the commentary is good. The big problem is broken gameplay. The QB vision is the worst idea since the "catch" button on the QB Club on the Dreamcast. What really stinks is EA took some ideas used in the 2K games now that Sega isn't making an football game. I'm still playing ESPN 2K5 and won't bother with Madden. Don't bother with the PSP version either, its worse then the console versions. A lot of people said a mediocre product would come from this exclusive license...well....i told you so!
