Summary

Game Description

Studio Gigante--headed by John Tobias, a major force behind the Mortal Kombat series--takes the reigns for this Xbox exclusive. The animation is excellent, and there's a physics generator to keep the wrestlers moving in a realistic manner. The graphics are downright superb, as well. When you unleash a stunning Finishing Move on your opponent, you'll feel like you're 6'-7? and a buff 280 pounds.

WWE WrestleMania 21 - Xbox

Perhaps the worst wrestling game ever!

I am i big fan of wrestling games, especially the Smackdown series, and when i got my Xbox last year this was one of my first games, and at first i enjoyed it, but now I've played it a bit more, i hate it. It's very clunky and has a lot of bugs, as well as a lack of effort. If there is anything good to say about the game, it's the graphics as they look great, but that's not to say they're perfect. The character models look great, with lot's to detail. The game use a nice lighting effect, which give the wrestlers a nice shiny look, but the look is too damn bright, and the wrestlers look like plastic figures, which really isn't that nice too look at. Also the animation is bad as well, and feels really stiff and clunky as well. Another good thing about the game is the sound, as the voice acting doesn't sound like the voice acting in SD vs Raw, but the rest of the sound is not that good. The sound effects are decent at best, but sometimes the sound effects are not that good. Also the soundtrack isn't the best heard in a WWE game, but soundtracks haven't been the strong point of any wrestling games. You can use you're music you've ripped onto your xbox as your wrestlers entrance music, which is a nice touch. The soundtrack itself is basically the same as the one you heard in Day Of Reckoning, with some new songs like 'The Black Eyed Peas' song annexiety which features 'Papa Roach'. Now that i've said the good points about the game, let me tell you about the rest of the game, which is a sloppy mess. Problems, like the grappling engine, the boring storymode (which does tell an interesting story, but has a main character that you will hate), lackluster create-a-modes and other problems really mess up the experience. I've never liked the WWE games that have been released on the Xbox, but this games beats them all, in sloppiness that is! Don't play this game.

Its a pretty good game but with Raw vs Smackdown! out there this game gets kind of boring; but its still a fun game.
