Indigo Prophecy
What kind of experience would the player have if they were limited to simple timing and motion control interfaces instead of intricate menus and battle systems of the traditional titles? It might sound lame to you, but Indigo Prophecy will prove you wrong.

i have a prophecy...a prophecy of a great game...
Indigo prophecy, what more can i say than WOW! This game is truly awsome. Story: The story of indigo prophecy is like a fusion between "the matrix" and something along the lines of x files. The outcome is a good one. The story keeps you coming back for more and grabs you until the 3 multiple endings. I dont want to spoil it to much but i'll give you the basics, you are a normal man named lucas kane who wakes up in a bathroom stall and radomly stabbs an innocent man to death. After regaining conciousness you realise what youve done. Without any knowledge of himself killing a completely innocent man you are lead on a wild gose chase trying to figure out what happened and how one minute your an innocent law abiding citizen and the next a cold blooded killer. The story has so many twists and turns that you'll want to keep playing to figure out exactly what happened that cold winter night in a little diner. Gameplay: The gameplay in indigo prophecy is truly unique. Its a mix of perfect timing and escape and evade. The outcome is somthing truly fantastic and absolutely unique. So for those of you who has seen the game in a store for about $20 (thats what i bought it for) than make sure you get this game. One example that i can use is that, if you have ever heard of the upcoming game
"heavy rain" than thats basiclly your closest example of indigo prophecy. So i do advise you to buy this game, if your intigued by what i said in this review than make a great investment and buy indigo prophecy.

Strangely Interesting
The atmosphere of this game is achieved beautifully. The graphics, sound, and unique controls definitely bring something new to the table. It was a little odd when I first started playing it, but I have to admit it was a nice break from the rest of the games I had been playing up to that point. The darkness of the game was enough to bring about suspense and intrigue, but not enough to scare the living hell out of you; it was definitely no Silent Hill. Mostly, I enjoyed the storyline and how/when you (the player) interacted. Very cinematic, but not alienating as a result. I loved it, but I am not sure I can recommend it strongly to the average Joe. If you are into more cerebral (and dark) games, this is at least worth a rental. Perhaps buy it used? It is interesting at the very least.

Good the first time....
Indigo prophecy isn't your "typical" video game. Think of it more as a Hollywood movie. The story is great the first time through, but because the main story ends up haveing the same ending everytime replay value is virtually non-existant. For a game that is supposed to have multiple branching storylines I was a little surprised that only minor details were changed based upon your choices. Other than that, the game is great, but I wouldn't advise buying it because of the lack of replay value.
