Game Description

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy by Midway for the Xbox is an action game that tests the player's ultimate weapon: the mind. Formerly known as ESPionage, Psi-Ops is set in a near-future environment dominated by technology and order. Players take on the role of Nick Scryer, an elite American Psi-Operative soldier who must combat a fierce terrorist organization set to overthrow world order. Scryer fights a horde of brainwashed super soldiers by using his Psionic powers, including Telekinesis (lift and throw people and items using mental powers), Pyrokinesis (throw walls of fire), and Mind Control (control another character's body). The only way for Scryer to stop The Movement and its Psi agents is to use his psionic powers and beat them at their own "mind game."

creative-action

Although this game "borrows" some elements from other games, PO:TMC still manages to take some great ideas and make them fun. The pace of this game is very well done. I was enjoying myself with just weapons and FPS mechanics. As soon as I felt the slightest bit of repetitiveness start to kick in, PO:TMC gave me powers. The different powers allowed me to exterminate my foes with creative ways and balanced out my bullets with powers. I even got a few puzzle solving done with the psi-op powers. The story is interesting enough to keep me going. I really enjoyed this game.

A good game to make the time past.

I really liked this game because it felt fresh and new the first time I played it. This is a good game to pass the time with. If you,ve never played this game then you should playit. Throughout the game you go through a facility fighting your way through many enemies. At the end of each level you fight a boss and when you beat that boss you get a new power. PEACE.

Exactly what you hope it is

Have you ever had a dream where you pick something up with your mind, and manipulate it however you want, only to wake up and be disappointed? Play this game, and you'll feel a lot better. From the moment you start this game up, you'll be having fun. The physics are very noticable from the beginning. Just watch as your character's feet don't just go inside of a fallen enemy. Rather, your character's feet push the dead foe's limbs around. See a locker door slightly opened? Punch it, and watch it move realistically. This helps out during the game, when you gain different psi-powers. The first, and one of the most fun, is telekinesis. The first time you get to pick up a box and throw it, let alone throw it at a person, is pure joy. Combat is extremely fun as well. I can't say howm uch fun the gameplay is, so you should just stop reading this review, and go buy the game. The visual and audio experience is well presented. Sounds are very fitting, and the graphics suit the game well. There's nothing that'll really grab your attention, other than how much fun this game is. So, I think I'll just stop writing, and let you go get it. ENJOY!

Pretty fun and some funny stuff to do

THis game is fun, nothing is more satisfying the dropping a 200 pound ball on an unsuspecting vicums head, or throwing them into a grinder.
