Republic Commando is also a very fun Star Wars game. This was an outstanding game for an FPS. It has excellent singleplayer and fun multiplayer even though there isn't a whole lot to do in the multiplayer mode. The singleplayer missions are very entertaining because of the nonstop action. I also like how you could command your squad, known as Delta squad, to do various actions including healing a comrade, taking a sniper position, targeting a certain enemy, and several other commands. All of these commands were very unique and they all made the game much more fun and interesting. Future FPS games should study this one closer to put these types of interactive minigames into their own games.

Star Wars Republic Commando for the Xbox is an extremely entertaining game that engages the player right away and continues to thrill all the way to the very end. Republic Commando is a first-person shooter, but different than most in that you are never fighting alone. In fact, as the leader of an elite squad of clone troopers, you will always have 3 other warriors at your command at all times. Your teammates will cover your back and perform various specialized duties along the way, but most importantly, they will engage in conversation with you throughout the game, and the dialogue can be quite humorous. You will definitely get a feeling of comraderie for these virtual teammates, which is the next best thing to playing alongside other humans. The sound effects are great, and the soundtrack is particularly powerful. The lyrics are in an alien language, but the vocals and musical arrangements will definitely evoke memories of soviet Russia. The game is split up into 3 campaigns, each getting progressively longer and more challenging. The variety of locales and weapons is sufficiently refreshing, and the action never lets up. I highly recommend this game to Star Wars fans and all shooter fans.

Star Wars republic Commando Review

I own this game & have finished it on all difficulty levels. The story line is good & stays true to it's Star Wars universe roots. I found it to be a bit glitchy & the game froze on me more than once. Overall it's fun & if your a Star Wars fan refreshingly familiar. If you see it this game in your local baragin bin I would recommend buying it.

A Game that,er,Commands Attetnion

Back when this game came out,i remember seeing raviews everywhere praising it in a typical way that is associated with any Star Wars game. You see high praise, then average while a magazine next door(one i don't buy cause it's not GamePro)says its bland and tiring.Well,im not a fan of this genre of game, and it's not typical Star Wars. It's an extreme blowout of frantic shooting and addictive gameplay that had my head spinning in excitment. Graphicwise,im still impressed by them today.the textures are great, the character models are fantastic, and while the level designs could have had a little more variety, they were well thought out. Sound:Impressive, slightly repetitive Story:Not too clear, but im still waiting to delve into the climax of the game glitches:yes, multiple gliches.Explosions that cause my Xbox to freeze up,something no othe game has caused. Also,my squad would get stuck on a fallen enemy,or,like one time,id go through a whole level, then realize one of my men was missing.Id follow back over my footsteps and behold,he's completely blended into a wall back near the beginning.Still, this glitch also proved, you don't really need all of them to finish a level. Overall:Excellent;not perfect. It's a musi have Xbox 1 title though, since it's thoroughly enjoyable;slightly repetitive.I love Republic Commando;and semi-colons
