Doom 3 is a horror themed FPS from id software and when you start playing it looks and sounds very good (for the original xbox) but after going through a few of the levels you start to notice that you've shot that same imp about 100 times and he does the same thing every time. That is the biggest problem with Doom 3, after about a half hour, you have seen basically everything (minus the ending). It really does look and sound amazing and plays reasonably well but it's just too repetitive, at first I was having a great time (it was my first doom game) but after a while I almost had to force myself to keep going. If you don't think about it and just want to shoot lots of things than it might be worth a rental but buying it for anything above $10 is way too much. If you just want to shoot demons for a weekend than this is a decent rental, but don't buy it unless you really, and i mean REALLY, like Doom.

Doom3 is a great game.I have never played it on pc but I have it on xbox.It looks really good.I would say it almost looks like a next-gen game except its on a last gen system.Thats how great it looks.Yeah its dark and you cant see much but what you can see looks absolutely great especially since its a pc game on a console.It plays well to the controls are great and are pretty fluid.Theres nothing clunky about its controls on the xbox.Its also has a great story.It makes you want to keep playing the game just to find out more.Also some of the games moments can be really intense especially given the level of darkness in the games.When demons and zombies and other freaks start jumping out at you its almost like a ride at an amusement park.I highly recommend this game to any one plus its graphics wont hurt your eyes much.

Doom 3 is a good horror sci-fi game for the xbox. The graphics are detailed and good although the game is ver dark. As you would expect from Doom the weapons are still very good. Overall this is a great xbox game and a must have for any xbox lover who does not have the PC version.

Its scary as hell (which is good) great graphics, good control overall a great game a classic for the X-BOX

doom is a classic lol, it's one of the best shooter and horror shooter i have ever played in my life, the graphic is pretty good, even for an Xbox
