Dissapointing
I was gamestop, about 2 or 3 years ago, looking for a new FPS to keep me busy for a while until Project Snowblind comes out, i stumbled upon this game for 11.99 used. I picked it up due to the fact that the pc version got good reviews, and also im a huge fan if Unreal Tournament. Unreal 2 you take control of the character John Dalton an ex marine, who with a bunch of other characters, an annoying robot, a hot chick, and an alcoholic repairman. go out to retrieve artifacts and to restore peace. Overall a pretty unoriginal story. as i start the first level your inside a miltary base trying to save a marine a lone survivor from an assault on the base from the aliens. The sad thing is this setting has been done many times before In alot of other games, Extermination etc. So pretty bland. The graphics have defintly not taken Advantage of xbox's graphical capibilites either. It pretty much looks like a touched up Halo 1, and from what i've seen on the pc version this is pretty dissapointing. The gameplay is pretty much like Unreal CHampionship, you get tons of weapons each weapon has 2 funtions etc, and again a huge dissapointment since the gameplay has been slowed down. I can understand slowing it down from Unreal championships speed, but this is slower then Halo 1, or Red faction on ps2 for that matter. The weapon Variety is great. alot of weapons to choose from, and as i mentioned 2 different fire modes. The only extra this game brings is the multiplayer. coop etc nothing to really write about it. Overall Pretty dissapointing game overall, i was defintly hoping for better graphics faster speed. and also a more original story. Multiplayer, and decent controls keep this game from getting a 2.0/ With xbox basicley being the home to console fps, i really cant see a reason to pick this up over the 50 or so other fps's out there, defintly pass on this one.

Typical garbage from the morons at Atari
This is the worst unreal title period. I've played Unreal 1, Unreal Tournament, and Unreal Championship, Unreal 2 is complete garbage. A friend brought it over to my house to play it on co-op. This is the first game I've ever played where the characters talk way too much. You have to skip over 30 minutes of cutsecnes to play a level. My friend said the game had good graphics. (cough)bull****(cough) The graphics looked dull and boring. I've seen better graphics on my 10 year old computer games. The environments are way too big, I got bored after 3 levels because my friend and I were running around a level for 2 hours. If you want a good FPS, play Halo, Halo 2, even Unreal 1 is better than this disapponiting game.

Not worthy of the Unreal title.
The original Unreal was a great game, good AI and graphics for the time, this one does not even come close. I thought this game was made for the PC and XBOX, not Game Boy Advanced. There is no way I could recommend this game, unless you like Monsters that have no brain and move like their on train tracks. If I could give it a score lower than 1.0 I would.

Unreal II, Unreally horrible
Unreal II is a complete flop, the background graphics are decent, however the movement of characters in particular the "enemy aliens" look like something coming off of a NES system. They are choppy and look like a picture being dragged across the screen. No realistic movement in the game, plus you cant even play multiplayer deathmatch unless you play over x-box live or system link, that is what makes those games fun, and for them to limit you like that is extremely aggravating.

Some People Are Morons
This is nothing like the Unreal Champ. and Tournment titles, duh... This is on its own based system, not Champs, or Tourns. This game is not all that bad it has a few down sides but nothing to cry about. If you like FPS you should buy it.
