Prison Blues

In the game The Suffering you play as Torque, a man on death row for the murder of his ex-wife and his two kids. He is put in Abbot State Penatentary on Carnate island, about ten miles off the coast of Maryland. About five minutes after getting there the prison becomes over run by hideous demons, each one representing a differant method of execution. You then have to fight your way throurgh the prison, an insane asylum, and various other locations to find out the truth behind The Suffering. Did Torque really kill his wife and kids? You will have to find out and play. Torque also has an insanity meter and when it fills up you can turn into a hulking beast with a blade for an arm. The graphics are decent, but not great, but it doesn't detract from the experiance. One thing that DOES detract from the game is that its not scary. I never found myself holding my breth and dredding what would be around the next corner as I did in games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. This is still a great game if your looking for an action packed thrill ride. Enjoy!
