Summary
Game Description
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (a.k.a. Marvel vs. Capcom 2[9] or MvC2[10]) is the fourth and final game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of fighting games. With the final installment of the series, Capcom simplified the engine so that it would be more accessible to casual players, in order to bring in new players. Changes were made to the air combo system and the button configuration was trimmed down to 4 main buttons and 2 assist buttons. The game also features 3 on 3 tag, compared to the 2 on 2 tag from previous games in the series. It is the only game in the series to use the NAOMI system, which is used mostly for 3D games. It is mainly seen in this game in the backgrounds and system effects, as well as Abyss' sphere. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was later ported to the Dreamcast, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. On April 27th, 2009, Capcom announced that a port of the Dreamcast version of the game would be released for Xbox Live Arcade as well as the PlayStation Network in the Summer of 2009.

Best Fighting game For x-box
this is the best fighting game ive ever played on the x-box. i liked it even better then soul caliber2 but that is my opinion. this game is great fun with good fighting AI with a noticeable diffrence in the levels of diffulculty. the most fun i had was unlocking all the secret characters and the levels. i suggest everyone who has looked down on this game to atleast try it.

king of 2D fighting(arcade version)
Nothing in the 2d fighting world can beat Marvel vs Capcom 2, with its frantic action, endless numbers of kick @$$ fighters, and out of this world combos, and some of the greatest multiplayer gameplay ever, if you have have a PS2 OR XBOX buy it immediatly, and if you dont, go to your local arcade and bring a friend. This is one of my favorite fighting games ever, dont miss it.

If you missed out on this great game the first time, nows your chance!
I am a huge fighting game fan myself, and have never really been into the 2D fighters very much. I mean, Street fighter was good, but I always liked other games better. When this game 1st came out on the Dreamcast, I just ignored it. About 2 years later, i found myself playing this game at the arcade constantly. The game is one of the BEST fighting games on the Xbox, probably second to DOA3. The game is essitainly the same as the DC version, with minor graphical updates and no slowdown. I also think the controller (S) feels better than the playing with the DC controller. If you were like me and missed out on MVC2 the first time around, do yourself a favor and get this game. You will be playing for hours. Its just to bad the Online support was cancelled, but I dont really care. The game is still great playing with some friends.

M.Vs.C. 2 is better than ever.
Now I'm a huge fan of fighting games. And I'm an even huge fan of The Street Fighter series. But I have to tell you when I heard that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was coming out for the X-box and PS2, I was happy yet wondering "will it be just like the dreamcast or will they suit the hell out of the game" So I've played the PS2 and it was like playing a PS1 game. Like Marvel vs. SF. There was extra sound FX, alot of slowdown, and the music didn't sound like the arcade. (more like it was record and was playing over th game) But the X-box verson of this game is just like the DC. The loading time of this game is fast (just like the DC) the gameplay is good (just like the DC)The 2D into 3D is clear (just like the DC) and if u use the new X-box controller it play just like the DC. The only flaw of this game is X-box could of made it an online game like they did for Capcom vs. SNK 2. Other than that it a really good game
