need help on the level called(Fangorn Forest)take this tip
This isn't a rather easy map with its deal of goblins and trolls. Once you get to a big hallow log you will be attacked by a small wave of goblins defeat them all, go through the log they busted out of, a guy with a t shaped sword pops out and attacks. Get back and barrage him with arrows ( if playing with Gimli axes). get past there and it gets tuffer you will encounter a troll that throws small logs that will hert. Use arrows or axes as a first hit and quickly run in and do a quick ficrce attack. Get through that and their is 1 in a cave and 2 at the end of the level.

Takes hack'n slash to new levels
This is a great game, and really takes hack'n slash games to new levels. One thing that makes this game work so well is that its so fun playing has your favorite LOTR characters and taking part in the storyline(complete with clips from both of the first two movies). However the graphics sometimes look outdated, especially the chararcters in some scences, but are good for the most part. The game really tries hard to capture the true spirit and scale of the movies and books, but falls short a couple times, but that doesnt marr it to badly. All in all this is a game that should please gamers and fans alike. enjoy.

An action game that does not disappoint.
Although this game is at times frustrating, I feel it is in the same game of the year league as Halo. The graphics are amazing, control is smooth, sound is sweet, and the voice acting is a great touch. The movie-to-game cutscenes are amazing, and each level is an extremely cool ride. The ability to buy and perform combos adds to the feel of the game. In short, this game is bad@$$. Anyone that wants a hack-and-slash with a side of strategy should buy this game. It will appeal to action and Tolkien fans alike.

Awesome game, very fun and original game play but WAAAAAAYYYY TOO short!
Very fun game and when I rented it that was all I played, at least until I beat the game in that same day I rented it! Sure it has a Halo excitement to it but the problem is that once you play a level then you already know what happens and there is no variety. It would have been nice if the AI was a bit more unpredictable. This is still a nice game and they did a good job on it but it could have been longer. Strictly a rental I believe.
