Okay, but not good enough.
The graphics are OK in a sense that almost everything looks cartoony. The sound could have been better, at least put in one of the actors! They were however very chronologically corrcet about Tom Bombadil and the others in the begining which was cool since I expected them in the first one to get all the characters from the book in there. The fighting could have been improved. An OK game it is.

A promising game, but the Two Towers looks to improve on this game's faults
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, for the XBox gaming console, provided hardcore LOTR fans with a little look at what they can expect from the remaining games to be made (The Two Towers, and The Return of the King). Lucious backgrounds make this game a real eye- poper, but blocky charaters (much to the appearence of the characters portraied in Star Wars: Obi Wan) make this game almost lose its graphic edge on other normal games. Gameplay is painstriking as you walk through seemingly never-ending levels, and confusing button configurations can make you feel uncomfortable in the heat of a tense battle. Overall, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is an average game, and gamers that would not like to be dissapointed in the series' ability, should definitely wait for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (available now).
