Shenmue II - Xbox

Shenmue 2? What's that?

Shenmue 2 is an rpg of a different kind. Instead of using swords and magic, you'll be using lips and feet(for walking that is). Joking. Shenmue 2 is a sequel to the first on the dreamcast. (the what?) It continues the story of Ryo (who you play as) as he continues to seek his father's murder. He now sets of in Hong Kong and has some interesting encounters with a kid, a lady on a bike, and many annoying looking chinese con artists. One of the cool features of shenmue two is a branching effects of success of failures of interactive cut scenes sort of like RE4. (Even though this game came out BEFORE it) Other features are like real world things. Time, you have to get a job, and you can talk to everyone. (literally everyone) You can knock on their door and ask where you need to go. Even kids might take you where you need to go. (Better hide the kids from Micheal) The fighting only occurs in sparse areas and no you cant fight all the time. The drawbacks from this game is that it's a little dated, sometimes the camera is hard to use, and sometimes walking and turning is a hard thing to do. Another drawback is the bad voice acting and translation. Your character will stutter and say oh. uh, hmm, and repeat whatever the person your talking might say. Honestlyy, though many rpg fans will not like this (no turn base action, not much character development or depth, and the hero is sometimes either retarded or just has no common sense) The good things though are the vast areas that seem just like a normal environment and the interactive cutscenes. One last comment is about the fact that the things to do in shenmue is somewta like the gta series except less exploration, no vehicles, and no weapons. (and no, there are no stats involved either)

Best 5 bucks ever spent

This game is not Grand Theft Auto. That is why most people don't play it for very long. They can't just go clobber some innocent by stander. This game is super cheap now so go get it and just let it emerse you into this giant world that Yu Suzuki has put together. You want Virtua Fighter Role Playing game, this is it. If you take your time and just do all the little things like buy all the move scrolls you can and master those moves, and collect all the millions of things within it along with the story, its amazing! The bad part about it is. . . because I waited to pay 5 bucks, I won't see a sequel anytime soon. SHAME ON US ALL.

Shenmue II

This game is very deep in story just like the last one on dreamcast. The major thing is the world is ten times bigger and the game is longer. The combat system is fun and the QTE is a great addition to the game. The game follows Ryo Hazuki as he searches for Yuahnda Zu who knows why his father was killed by Lan Di. And to learn about the mirrors Lan Di seeks(which ryo has). This game is action packed and there is tons of things to do. I recommend this game to all rpg lovers.

Sweet Game!

Could be the best new game for the X-Box. The graphics are the best i've seen in a while, the sounds are good, and the controls are simple to learn. This game also has something that soome others don't... a good story line! It flows great straight from the late Dreamcast (R.I.P., one of the coolest systems that didn't make it...) and it sucks you in for hours and hours of gameplay. Just go buy it now!
