NBA 2K3

Sports games usually don't turn out well and this game isn't an exception. For some reason it is extremely difficult to make a basket under any circumstance from any distance. This game has okay multiplayer but it's still pretty boring. It may be fun at first but it got old prettyyy quick.

THE BEST BASKETBALL GAME SINCE NBA JAM FOR THE SNES!!

This game is awsome and its definatly the best basketball game i've played, tied for first with NBA Jam for the SNES. First of all the basketball-gameplay system/control system is so fun, well made and easy to learn. Second, the features are great(the ability to play in street courts and indoors, and espcially that you can build a dream team with your favorite players(Micheal Jordan,o ya). Third the Graphics are amazing, seriously, I couldnt stop saying how good they were(much to my friends annoyance). So in short,GET THIS GAME itz worth every cent!

NBA 2K3 - Xbox

To quote Gamepro, NBA 2K3 is "the best B-ball in the biz"

The NBA playoffs on TV are usually the closest one can get to great basketball without a ticket. NBA 2K3 changes all of that by sporting the best sporting graphics ever seen. The graphics are better than the stellar visuals of 2K2, and the sound is beefed up by new commentary by the same great two-man crew. On the gameplay side, 2K3 has the exclusive ESPN overlays and presentation, which creates an even more authentic experience. The franchise mode is the deepest around, and it actually puts you in the front office, at the draft, and in the glory. NBA 2K3 features pressure sensitive controls and beautiful animations too. If you like seeing Jermaine O'Neal or Dirk Nowitzki executing a flawless fadeaway or like to feel the pressure of late game free throws 2K3 is for you. If you would rather see Vlade Divac doing 360-reverse dunks over triple coverage by 7-footers, you may want NBA Live or a Total Recall.

******LIVE BY THE NBA...DIE BY THE NBA*******

FOR MY REASEARCH I HAVE RENTED ALL OF THE XBOX NBA GAMES...THE TOP 2 DOMINATING TITLES BEING OF COURSE NBA LIVE'03 & NBA 2K3. NBA 2K3 IS DEFINITELY THE DIGITAL FORM OF THE REAL THING RIGHT DOWN TO PLAYERS MISSING KEY SHOTS OR LAYUPS FOR NO REASON. SEGA GAVE THIS GAME GREAT DETAIL WHICH COMMMANDS ANYONE'S RESPECT EVEN IF YOU HATE VIDEO GAMES. I UNDERSTAND THAT FROM PREVIOUS REVIEWS 2K3 IS KNOWN FOR BEING TOO SLOW. *********DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE*******..IF YOU ADJUST THE GAMEPLAY OPTION TO FAST THE SLOW ISSUE IS IRRELEVANT. PLUS 2K3 HAS A GREAT STREET BALL OPTIONS WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO PICK WHO YOU WANT ON YOUR SQUAD...NO LONGER DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE DO WITH THE PLAYERS THAT "NEED IMPROVEMENT" JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH THE SUPER STAR AT RUCKER PARK .....IF YOU ARE THE NBA BUT JUST DID NOT MAKE THE TEAM GO TO THE STORE NOW....AS FOR MYSELF I PURCHASED LIVE'03 BECAUSE 2K3 WAS JUST A LITTLE TOO REAL FOR ME ( I PERSONALLY LIKE ALL THE DUNKS).........BUT I HIGHLY SUGGEST RENTING BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE BECAUSE IN THE YEAR OF 2003, TO CHOSE EITHER LIVE'03 OR 2K3 REALLY COMES DOWN TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE.....THANK YOU

The Only XBox Basketball Sim Worth Buying This Year

I'm sure you've all seen the commercials touting it as the best game of the year and all that great stuff. Well my friend, believe the hype because all of it is true. NBA 2K3 is hands down the best basketball game this season bar none. The graphics on the game are excellent from the camera angle, to the lighting it's all perfect, especially when compared to NBA Live's 3/4 view and NBA Inside Drive's overall darkness. The sound effects are just amazing, not only can you hear the ball dribling, and the shoes squeaking, but you can also hear everyone's shoes hit the ground (it sounds like an oncoming stampede) and it all blends in well with the rest of the sound (the crowd and player chatter) without one sound element overpowering another. The commentary is definitely on point and in tune with the game. Also, NBA 2K3 makes the best use of the ESPN Liscense thus far, though I still want to see ESPN guys on the game rather than their fictional commentators. The thing that puts NBA 2K3 over the top however is that it is the only basketball game going online for the XBox this season. So if you're a basketball fan with XBox Live, this is the game to buy, even if you had a choice. Definite satisfaction.
