STEEL(ING) MY CASH
Wow, where do I begin? The controller is one big mutha. You would think with a three panel controller that they would give you a training mode to get used to the controls. That would make too much sense so they just throw you into battle. They don't even let you get out of the hanger first. I died a dozen times before I got out of the hanger. They really could have simplified the controls so you could use a hand held controller. The main unit is made of cheap plastic with non centering joy sticks. The foot pedals are high quality with good feel. With the stiff learning curve I really had no fun at all. The graphics are fine but don't push the Xbox to its limit. AI is tough and a little unfair in spots. It doesn't help that your so called support gets in the way. The view is limited which makes it difficult to maneuver. If you're not sure about the purchase then don't buy it. If you're a hard core gamer then you should already own it and it's a must buy. I just can't recommend it and I'm putting mine in storage..

great
I have to admit that the two hundred dollar price tag scared me a little , I had watched this game since they acknowledged it's existence. It was well worth it, I picked it up last night and playe3d it till about 5 in the morning. This is the greatest game ever, if you thought Halo was the best for the black box, thnik again. The graphics are a mindbending journey into the future of games. The combat A.I of your enemies is excelent. It takes some time getting used to the huge controller, but once you do it is awesome. This is the best way to spend two hundred bucks(unless you paid 3 hundred like me) since you bought your xbox. Check Steel Battalion now even if your not a huge mech fan.

I endors all mech fans that hav the money to buy this game. I also cmes with that sweet controler with 40 buttons, including an eject button with a cover.

We all know it looks divine, we all know you need a huge and costly controller to use it...but how do you actually play Capcom's ode to robot-dom?
