Dear fans i thought that this game sucked but there is 1 good thing about it. If u come in last three times in a row type the password " who's that ladie all up in my man" then the other code is "tom cruise's penus is so small". ok...

this game is just ok. I wish that the graphics, and the cops could have been a little bit better. I mean the cops just tried to ram me and they really did nothing. Well the graphics were pretty good but could have been better. 4.0 for the graphics. The sound was ok. 3.0 for the graphics. The controls for this game i thought were very easy to learn and were responsive. So i say rent this game first to see if you like it.

Gone in 60 Seconds , the Game!

Yes, Test Drive leaves a good first impression, as a matter of fact, a very good first impression. When you start, you're Dennis Black, racing for a rich Brit who was injured in the last "Test Drive." The difference between this review and my previous one is the fact that this one includes the "long-term-stuff." For example when you first turn the game on, you'll notice the many scenarios including the cop chase, where you are a cop who drives a Dodge Viper. Or, you can be on the side of the people that are being arrested and avoid the cops. With some nice reflections on the cars and lightning speed, TD makes a good mark, but too frequently the backgrounds are highly distorted and choppy. And try racing at night; it's impossible, you can't see the obstacles. Racing at night is like racing with a black windshield. Control is solid, and simple, but is slippery and when you lose control...you lose control. The other driver's taunts are nice (well, bad) but don't have any variety. In a close drag race, you hear the same two expressions about 50 times! All in all, avoid Test Drive if you hate racers, or are a geek who's favorite movie is Lord of the Rings and favorite game is Royal LizardMen versus the Evil Warlocks. G R A P H I C S - 4.0 Sweet reflections and beautifuly detailed courses. If only it weren't so choppy and distorted... S O U N D - 3.5 The taunts from the other racer's is much too repetitive, but the sound of the wind blowing by over the car is mesmerizing. C O N T R O L - 4.0 VEry easy to learn and simple. But beware, it gets very slippery when you start going too fast. F U N F A C T O R - 4.0 If you're a fan of Fast and the Furious and Gone in 60 Seconds, this will be one for the ages. If you're a fan of Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons, well, you know.
