Game Description

NASCAR Thunder 2002 by EA Sports for Xbox is a Stock car racing game that features 43 cars (full fields with the largest number of competitors ever seen on console to date), over 50 NASCAR stars (Gordon Earnhardt Jr., Jarrett, and unlockable NASCAR Busch Series drivers, plus 100 paint schemes from the 2001 season), 23 NASCAR Winston Cup Series tracks (Daytona to Sears Point -- for the first time in history, this is the only game to deliver every track on the circuit), realistic damage effects (cars dent and crumple and steel body parts fly off), complete career (from Rookie to Champion), and multiplayer modes (one to four players compete for the checkers in Quick Race and Championship Season).

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/BoycotEA/ Another cheap PS2 port. EA SPORTS, lazy, lazy, lazy. The only redeeming qualities this game has is that it is NASCAR and it's better than HEAT.

In my opion,its better than Heat.

Its better than Nascar Heat but still needs about a year to shape up.Its still amazing and is the same thing as the ps2 version but the control is anoying.I rather use a Duel Shock 2 controller and it dosent have enough challenge to be worth a buy but its a great rental.

pretty good, though i have never played heat.

this game is pretty cool. it makes you do a lot of things.. like wanting to really hit other cars or reck your own car. this gfame is fabulus. though i did not see a change in graphics. so well that will only bring that down half a point. so maybe rent before buying, but a sweet game.

fun game although i never played HEAT... only race car game i have. looking forward to other titles on system.
