Guitar Hero World Tour-Wii

This game is great but not as good as #3. The layout is messy and most of the songs I can't bear to play. (Hence the name World Tour.) Some of the songs are good but let me say it is awy better than rockband 1 and 2. Sorry if I'm offending anyone but rockband sucks hairy nutsack. Almost every song sucks and the guitar keys always stick. I only gave this game 4/5 because number three was better. Still this is a great game.

The Best GH WT!!!!

Guitar Hero World Tour is the best on the Wii! The addictive gameplay that is always fond in Guitar Hero is still there! Plus the drums are very very solid and the mic responds great! the newly added neck slider on the guitar works incredibly well too! Innovative concepts, like the venues and characters are still there including the robust rockstar creator is a blast to use! You can even customize your own instuments. And the music creator is cool because there are plenty of instructions to help you make your own songs. when the main part of the game is to create a band you gonna need a fantasic multiplayer to do so, and World Tour does just that! even though the single player is robust the multiplayer hits it out of the park with the carrer, quickplay and mii free (which lets you play whatever you want as your mii and it makes it sound cool!) I don't know if you would call them boss fights but when you face ted nuget and zach wylde in a guitar duel is tons of fun! also when you make game that has an instrument in its name your gonna need good audio and OF COURSE it succeeds exceptionally, with over 85 tracks in the game and great venues that make the songs sound even cooler the audio is at its best in world tour. it also has loads of content to play with, like cheats assesories and clothing for your rockstar and the default characters.

the cons of this game are minimal but the visuals in this game could be better. the thirds game visuals are better than this but they are NOT ugly just not as good as the previous games. the poors storytelling really doesn't matter but it inst very good and it does deserve a con.

other than those two cons the game is AMAZING and it definetly deserves a 5 star, if you own a wii or any other console buy this game it will be worth it!

Not disapointed!

I'd been searching all over the place for the Wii bundle. I called every store every morning for about 2 weeks. Then the Gamestop near my house said they got one, and I rushed to get it. I brought it home like a brand new baby and ripped into it like a kid on christmas morning. The drums where easier to assemble than Rockband and I could tell right away that they were durable! I also like the black rather than the white! The cymbals are kick ass as well as the kick pedal (I've had to replace my Rockband kick pedal) which is made of much stronger plastic and feels more solid when you press down on it. And the guitar? Gorgeous! Now I have a nice new one for myself and my old white one for my friends to use (LOL)
It has this nice little feature called the neck slider, sounds intriguing right? Well it is. It adds a lot of fun to the solos. The whammy bar and strum bar are elongated and it just feels more comfortable to use. No hand cramping!! So lets get down to the mechanics of the game. The core of the gameplay remains true to the traditional of previous Guitar Hero games. While loads of new features have been added which aren't too confusing ( I caught onto the editing modes rather quickly) the coolest features are the ability to create your own music, I spent an hour just messing with the drums!! World Tour also adds the new feature- Create a Rocker VERY IMPRESSIVE. If anyone is into The Sims, this has the same air to it. You can customize everything about your character, down to individual clothing items and the colors. There are hundreds of clothing and accesory options and loads of unlockables. you can comand your characters stage presence! What they do when they come on stage, when they win, and yes... when they lose. You can even customize your instruments pretty much to the same extent. (I didnt bother with my mic) The songs??? SIMPLY PUT: It's the most amazing setlist with the most unique and rocking songs imaginable. When a song comes on everyone around will instantly call out "Oh this song is the shit!!" You will probably want these songs on your ipod. And to end my review, it is my opinion that if anyone doubts the Wii version of WT they are sorely mistaken!
