Paint the street's black, white and red
Madworld is an awsome game with many highlights and only a few flaws. GAMEPLAY: The gameplay in mad world is amazing. Think gears of war meets mortal kombat. The games audio is also really awsome. Theres nothing more satisfying than hearing you enemy scream while he's watching you saw his own arm off...pricless. So basicly you wander the corrupt streets where the dark gritty alleys are the highlit's of this city torn apart by society. So who better to send to clear out a city filled with suicidal maniac's than you, Jack. The game is packed to the tee with blood, gut's and f-bombs. You can literally think of millions of ways to kill your enemy. You could punch him in the face saw his arm off with your arm mounted chainsaw, jam a street sighn through his skull and than throw him into a spiked wall repeatedly. Or you could just saw him in half than step on his head. The possibilties are endless. The game plays like an old school beat em up with a mortal kombat/gears of war twist. The enviroments span from insane city streets to horror themed mansions filled with ware wolfs and other scary things. The game also has an amazing rap soundtrack. GRAPHICS: The graphics in madworld are top teir. The game plays completely in black in white but let's the vibrant red's blue's and yellow's shine through (especialy the red's). The bloody, bloody, bloody gameplay will either make you cringe or laugh your ass off (both in good ways). So anybody who's in the mood to chop people in half with a chainsaw or jam a street sign in someones head or even if you just want the sheer veriety to mercilisly murder in any way you want, than madworld is your game. Even if your a xbox 360 or ps3 fan boy you'll still want to check this work of art out. One last note, i really wish that they never even added multiplayer into the game, the multiplayer look's like it was thrown together in 2 seconds, but the single player campaign is still an amazing excperience. So what are you waiting for? Go out there and slawter to your hearts content, i know i will.

MadWorld - Wii
The Negligent parents and ambulance-chasing lawyers, your next target has arrived and it's a doozy. MadWorld, published by SEGA and developed by Platinum Games (formerly Clover Studios, best known for Okami and Viewtiful Joe) is so over-the-top violent and vulgar that by comparison the Grand Theft Auto series may as well be Mr. Rogers. In no other game, for example, can you grab hold of a leather-clad enemy and impale him anus first on a rusty spike, which penetrates his body and rips through his mouth in a bloody fountain on the other side. Uh-huh -- there's going to be some phone calls. But beneath the oceans of cinematically dismembered limbs, chainsaw-severed torsos and uncensored F-bombs, there waits a legitimately entertaining game supported by a compelling storyline, a breathtakingly bold and some fun, engaging play mechanics to boot. MadWorld may ultimately not be for everyone -- its black and white presentation and unabashedly offensive content practically ensure that -- but those who do get it will absolutely love it. And for the record, I completely get it.
Just like Okami and Viewtiful Joe before it, MadWorld looks like a beautiful piece of moving art. Director Shigenori Nishikawa has admitted to comic book influences like Sin City and parallels could certainly be drawn to unique movies like Renaissance, both of which feature similar black and white presentations. The itself is not original, but we've never seen it done like this in a videogame before and the end result is a stunning success. Platinum Games wanted to create a title so distinct that when people stumbled upon it, they wouldn't be able to turn away -- and love it or hate it, MadWorld's graphics catch and hold the eye. The side effect to this design choice is that ultra-stylized works are perfectly suited to Nintendo's underpowered console, which struggles to render realistic environments, but is amply armed where art is emphasized over technology.

An amazing addition to the violence-loving gamer's collection
This amazing game was exactly what the Wii needed. For those of you unfamiliar with this title, it's one of the best on the system. It has a cool art as well as an awesome rap soundtrack and hilarious in-game commentators. Its ultraviolent gameplay made parents protest and hardcore gamers dance with glee. As far as flaws go, it only had two. The first was that the game would occasionally confuse my vertical and horizontal slices and the second was that it was way too short (or maybe I was just playing constantly during the two days that I had it, I'm not really sure). Despite these flaws, this is a game that anyone with a Wii (who actually cares about the industry) needs to buy.

A great game.
You are not a hardcore Wii gamer unless you get this game. This is a fun, beautiful game that adds something visually and conceptually new. Think double dragon but gorier.
Madworld deserves better sales than it has. Until it starts selling, it's the Wii best kept secret. My buddies laughed so hard when I showed them it.
The only thing I wish this game had was coop so I could team up with some (just imagine the kind of kills one could do in tandem with another person). People complain about the lock-on feature, but it's a quirk, not a deal-breaker. Maybe the Zelda team could give them a tutorial for the next version. My only other gripe is that I wish the execution of the fatalities were explained better. I haven't figured out how to replicate certain moves. . . maybe I'll look online.
But this should be in every serious gamer's library, especially now that it's only $30 at Amazon.

Review:
MadWorld
The Wii has earned itself a reputation as being a "kiddie console" thanks to its cutesy design and its library of family friendly titles. Gamers have lamented the lack of "hardcore" titles ever since the console debuted--well, their prayers have been answered with the release of MadWorld. But don't think for a moment that it's just a mindless gore-fest: MadWorld has the brains to go with the brawn. So read on for our review of this amazing title and take note because today is the day that the Wii stops being just a "kiddie console" and becomes a legitimate player in the "hardcore" gaming market.
