An amazing addition to the violence-loving gamer's collection

This amazing game was exactly what the Wii needed. For those of you unfamiliar with this title, it's one of the best on the system. It has a cool art as well as an awesome rap soundtrack and hilarious in-game commentators. Its ultraviolent gameplay made parents protest and hardcore gamers dance with glee. As far as flaws go, it only had two. The first was that the game would occasionally confuse my vertical and horizontal slices and the second was that it was way too short (or maybe I was just playing constantly during the two days that I had it, I'm not really sure). Despite these flaws, this is a game that anyone with a Wii (who actually cares about the industry) needs to buy.

A great game.

You are not a hardcore Wii gamer unless you get this game. This is a fun, beautiful game that adds something visually and conceptually new. Think double dragon but gorier.

Madworld deserves better sales than it has. Until it starts selling, it's the Wii best kept secret. My buddies laughed so hard when I showed them it.

The only thing I wish this game had was coop so I could team up with some (just imagine the kind of kills one could do in tandem with another person). People complain about the lock-on feature, but it's a quirk, not a deal-breaker. Maybe the Zelda team could give them a tutorial for the next version. My only other gripe is that I wish the execution of the fatalities were explained better. I haven't figured out how to replicate certain moves. . . maybe I'll look online.

But this should be in every serious gamer's library, especially now that it's only $30 at Amazon.

One of the best beat 'em ups I've played in years.

I'm so glad this game lived up to the hype. An M rated game that Wii owners deserve. The graphics are stylish and made me feel like I was playing Sin City, very well done. I love how it plays like a graphic novel/comic book even the gameplay with its bold bright words (slaughter, massacre, thud, etc). Great use of weapons and the enviroment around you. Executions are brutal and some of the bloodiest stuff I've ever seen in a game. I love the finishers, ripping a mans heart out is just to damn fun. I don't know why but I really enjoyed the music, the sound effects are excellent as well. The boss fights are sweet, especially the way you finish them off, they are all different and unique in there own bloody way :) My biggest problem with this game, the god damn camera. Why is it so sloppy? You push C to lock on to an enemy but when you let go of C it stays locked on to that enemy and if you try to run away the camera stays focused on behind you so you can't see what's in front of you. If you just try to throw punches without locking on it's even worse because you'll most likely end up missing. The camera is just really shaky and never sits still. My other problem is that it does get slightly repetitive. It's not a terrible thing about this game but by the end of the game you may grow weary of doing the same basic executions over and over. I also hate how you dodge, shaking the nunchuk is annoying for avoiding attacks I'd rather just push the C button. The levels stay fresh throughout the game adding new ways to destroy your enemies and just locations in general. Starting out in a city, going to a sumo arena, graveyard (my favorite), a dungeon/castle the levels are great. It's a gorefest that Wii owners should not miss. Also, the bloodbath challenges are hilarious. That pimp cracks me up every time.
