Reviews - Expert Game Recommendations From the GamePros

  • Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity doesn't gain anything by being on the Wii. In fact, it's best if you play it the way you played its predecessor, Sonic Riders, for GameCube-with a GameCube controller. If you have a couple of those purple peripherals hanging around, it's possible to have a fair amount of fun zooming around with Sonic and his pals. But thanks to some wonky controls, playing with the Wii Remotes does cut into the enjoyment.

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity - Wii

Pros Cons
Awesome audio Ugly visuals
Intense action Poor storytelling
Just plain fun Doesn't live up to expectations
Sonic Riders put up a strong attempt but places last

This game should have kicked but. However, I couldn't get the controls and the AI was almost TOO smart. You would be surprised how often the computer would find shortcuts I couldn't even see. I give the game some bonus points for a couple of thrills but this game just does not live up to the original.

This game was better than the original but it still sucks

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I played the original Sonic Riders and it SUCK BAD! THEN THEY MADE A SEQUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first i said NO WAY I AM NOT GETTING THAT! Well i got on Youtube and I heard that the sequel Zero Gravity was better than the original. So I rented it (DUMB MOVE ALERT) and I played it and It was so difficult I could not even get past the second level. There is barely any way to build speed so you can not go fast enough to win. I went through
training and that barely tought me anything. WHY IS SONIC ON A BOARD ANYWAY!!!!!!! The story is something about a stupid metor.which is a pretty sucky story.THe controls stink because you can't even turn around without using some kind of "magic turning around jump" that sometimes lands you in pits and off the track. It has barely any fun factor. The charectors say the same thing everytime you start a race EX: Tails "I'll do my best" that gets annoying after the 89th time! and the way you start a race sucks time because you have to be exact or you will lose. THIS GAME SUCKS!
