Game is great for now

This game was great for the time, but now CoDwaw is out u should buy that. my friend introduced me to the medal of honor series with rising sun for the gamecube. it had multiplayer on it so i thought to look for a medal of honor for the wii. My brother also likes it so it had to be offline multiplayer. I looked on the back and it said four players. I bought it and wanted to find out how to play with him. U Cant which sucked, but the online multiplayer was awsome and fun at the same time few problems but they rarely appered. Single player, get to the point it was not that great It didnt feel like ww2 but the only reason to tell if it was ww2 is the guns and the persons uniform, and the guy that talks to u before every mission. Yeah the game is really fun if u have multiplayer(that is where u will play the most) but not fun if u dont

The online is sweet

That's pretty much the saving grace of this game, the online play. 32 players? on Wii? What Wii owner wouldn't be excited? It's a lot of fun but it gets ruined easily with it's god awful controls. I seriously couldn't get into this game because of its controls. Granted, they're not as bad as Red Steels but that's not saying much. The single player was fine but got boring fast and again the controls are a problem. The arcade single player was a nice little add on. Now, why in the hell didn't Metroid 3 have multiplayer? The controls in that game were great and some online multiplayer would have been sweet. Lets just hope the team making The Conduit doesn't dissappoint, they've already got 16 players online announced, just make the controls smooth as silk (or Metroid) and we just might have one of the best FPS's. Same goes for Call of Duty: World at War (for Wii).

Skip this game, just wait for the ones that have loads potential.

Was fun to past the time with

To start off, the icon on the back of the box that indicates 4 player is a misprint. There is only single player.

The first thing that you'll probably play on this game is the online multiplayer. The campaign was very short with only 8 levels and 3 different difficulties. The enemies would only run into the map get into a spot behind cover or in your way, and proceed to try and kill you and never move from that spot, so it's basically the repetitiveness of shoot, take cover, and repeat throughout the game. There is no twist in plot, making it a straightforward experience of just killing the enemies and blowing up whatever your objective was to do with an achievement system that you shouldn't even bother with.

Now if you like rail shooters, there is the option of going through the Campaign from that perspective. The only real differences aside from not being able to control your movement are:

- The game makes you pick up different guns as you progress

- You can't use grenades

- You health doesn't regenerate, instead you must shoot health packs throughout the levels to replenish it

The arcade mode could actually be more "thrilling" than the campaign.

That's the main thing about this game that attracts players. The fact that it is the only first person shooter using the Wii-Mote offering online multiplayer. The fact that this game supports up to 32 players in an online match is great. The controls are also the best of any FPS title for the Wii with a variety of control options to tweak to fit you. Not to mention the motions you can preform:

- Flicking the Wii-Mote up instead of pressing up on the D-Pad to reload

- Thrusting both your Wii-Mote and Nunchuk forward at the same time to do a stronger melee attack than by pressing the Z button

- Holding down the A button to aim in a target and tilting your nunchuk to either side to lean around corners

- Holding down the A button to zoom in with a sniper rifle and twisting your Wii-Mote to adjust how far you want to zoom

- Flicking your nunchuk up as if your were trying to pump a shotgun with one hand to pump your shotgun

- Holding your Wii-Mote over your shoulder upside down as if it were a bazooka to use the bazooka's iron sight

- Holding down the B trigger with a grenade out and doing an actually grenade throwing motion to throw a grenade which is really accurate
But that's about where the pros of this game end. The online multiplayer consists of half baked features, lag that you'll either get used to or make you stop playing, and only six maps and the three basic multiplayer game modes (deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag, which is only available for two of the maps).
To start off, the features:

- A friends list that allows you to see if they're online, but if they are, it always just says that they are "in the game Medal of Honor: Heroes 2" which isn't useful

- Sending messages limits you only to preset texts

- In game messages are also preset and taking the time in game to push the 2 button at the bottom of the Wii-Mote often leads to death and are only used to show how you feel about dieing, usually affirmative or negative.

In this game, bullets seem to not register on a moving target if you're aiming directly at him. Therefore you must shoot in front of your opponent (lag shoot) where he will be in half a second. Even shooting a person standing still, it will take half a second for the bullets to register and kill him. Even headshots are annoying to achieve. Helmets seem to block half the bullets sent to a targets head most of the time, just resulting in the helmet being knocked off, even if you were to shoot their head at point blank. Most people have gotten used to this but, the lag has caused many, many people to give up on this game.

I played this game and held the rank of #1 for 4 months. Right now, I would suggest that you wait until November to buy Call of Duty: World at War if you want an online FPS for the Wii.

MOH

Medal of honor heroes 2 is a fun game, the campaign is short, but the arcade mode is fun. Online is a different matter... the spawn system is one of the worst ive seen and it is difacult to kill a single player at one point. (P.s:use grenades) (P.s.s: ? im srry that ive accidently been posting 2 reviews at a time ? how does that happen???)
