This game was fun for the Wii. But not as fun as it is as it is for the PS3 or XBOX360. It has very good songs, but no downloadable songs. The graphics aren't so goos, but I don't really care. It has great audio. The gameplay is repetitvie, because it is only guitar! Overall 4/5, would've been 5/5 but no DLC.
least wanted Guitar Hero.

A really fun game, it would be good if you have another person to play with you after you have beaten, cause then it kind of gets repetitive.
I love me some music.

First off, I love playing GH3 online. It's so much fun until the other guy decides he's going to bitch out and leave because he's losing. But we all know the online is fun and a great change of pace from career mode. What has always made GH great? That's right, the music. If you've got yourself one excellent track list then you've got yourself one awesome game and one excellent track list GH3 has. Granted there are songs/bands on there that suck (I'm looking at you Priestess) but it's all good when you've got dozens upon dozens of great songs/bands. The story I found to be quite funny especially when you have to play Devil Went down to Georgia against Satan, I loved that. It was hard as hell to beat him on hard but I did it and it was fun. I just can't wait for GH: World Tour, it's going to be amazing. Eat your heart out Rock Band.
Least Favorite songs:
Priestess: Lay Down
Rolling Stones: Paint it Black
Favorite Songs:
Living Colour: Cult of Personality
Slipknot: Before I Forget
Metallica: One
Aerosmith: Same old Song and Dance
Dead Kennedys: Holiday in Cambodia
Rage Against the Machine: Bulls on Parade
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Suck My Kiss
And the list goes on and on.
AFI is my favorite band, but they've got way, way, way, way better songs than Miss Murder.

In case you've been shipwrecked somewhere or holed up in your Y2K bunker, there's this little cultural phenomenon currently going on called Guitar Hero. Part III is a worthy installment in the mercilessly-milked cash cow that is GH, but the Wii version suffers a bit compared to its next-gen brethren. First, a synopsis: Because it's Guitar Hero, the strum-and-fret mechanics are top-notch and provide enough depth to require vast improvement in your skills if you are to progress in difficulty level. In this regard, Guitar Hero is king of the hill, besting the guitar mechanics of Rock Band handily. The track list is a great mix of old and new, with a great selection of bonus tracks thrown in as well. Unlockables aplenty make the numerous sessions you are bound to have with this game tangibly valuable, but the lack of downloadable content is laughable, as both the 360 and PS3 versions have this feature. Multiplayer modes are great, with co-op allowing you to unlock new songs that you can't access in single player mode. One lament about the game's audio is that most copies of the Wii GH3 were mono-only, an issue that Activision has since rectified, but let's be honest, this should have NEVER happened in the first place. In summation, it's fun, it's great for gamers of all ages, and you'll be culturally in the know if you snag this game-just beware the cost of the game+two guitars, as World Tour is right around the corner, drums and all.
