Following tradition, Mario Party 8 takes the social, strategic gameplay of board games and adds breaks for quick, action-oriented minigames. In the main mode, players travel across six boards in search of Stars, landing on spaces that are helpful (example: giving coins) or a hindrance (example: sending Bowser in to mess with the player). Several variations for these boards tweak the main goals to enhance game play for solo sessions, two-player games and three- to four-player games.

Party Game?

This game was fun for quite some time. If you have no friends to play this with, this game will get boring pretty quickly. The graphics are better than all the other versions. The gameplay hasn't changed at all, you roll a die and move on a oversized game board, sometimes you can use power ups and get an extra dice, make the dice move slower, or maybe attack another player. The turns I personally think are worse than before, they take to long to go, I wish you could just skip there turns. The Minigames are more fun, some with motion controls some with not. The Veridict: If you have some friends tgis will probably be a very fun rewarding experience, but if your a fag and have absolutly no friends this game will bite.

Lets Have a Party, Mario Party!

I thought this game was really fun.It was awesome with my friends. But soon after you have beaten story mode (Which is really long but easy) the taste goes away and you get bored. After I beat story mode I only played it with friends that came over. But I do think it's something to add a little party in your library of games.

Loads of room for improvement!

A giant let down for me. I hoped to see more of the wii controls implemented. Unfortunately the game only has a few mini games that can use the wii remote. I hope the next version comes out better.

BAD

I was VERY VERY VERY VERY dissapointed in this game. It is exactly like the last 7. It only has one regular level, only 2 new characters, and way too easy. It uses the wii mote very well though.

Mario Party 8 - Wii

Nothing special

It a fun game to play for maybe 3 hours, then you get bored of it and never play it again. 1 thumb down
