What can be said? You can't beat the original.
This game, although entertaining in the begining, gets utterly dull. After you beat the main story (or whatever you want to call it) there really is no point in playing. Its cool at first because of the controls, but after a while, you come to relize they arent all that great. And its not even all that fun to get all the characters and moves, because you would have to spend hours doing something that would, honestly, bore you.

Rent it only
Aaagghh, what can be said about Rampage: Total Destruction? Ok, the graphics have been updated which is a welcome addition to the sereis, but what else? You get to play the two classic Rampage games, anything more? There is a big amount of monster to select, nice...After this the game suddendly becomes the same old Rampage of all times. Sure when you first play the game (and if this is your first time playing any of the series titles) you can get a little excited about it. But after like an hour, maybe less, levels become very repetitive and the difficulty to complete each stage is not compared to the one in the original games. Gameplay: The Wiimote and the Nunchuk do an ok job. You use the Nunchuk to move your player around and swing the Wiimote to hit buildings and grab cars and stuff, but you will find yourself pressing more buttons than swinging the Wiimote. Multiplayer: There are a Co-op and Multiplayer mode, which do a nice job when it comes to destroying things having somebody to help you out. Sound: The in-game sound is nice the first few times, but after like 2 stages, music gets too repetitive and boring. As a Rampage veteran, i only recommend this game to those who haven't played a Rampage game ever in their life, and probably just as a rental. Those who have played the older versions, will agree with me that Rampage World Tour was way more entertaining and challeging than this title.

Rampage: Total Destruction
The original Rampage was a repetitive 1986 quarter-muncher that let three players bash the crap out of a whole bunch of practically identical cities. Twenty years later, the formula hasn't changed a bit.
